Global’s Make Some Noise is Global's charity that funds and empowers projects across the UK, helping disadvantaged children, young people and their families. Life is tough for a child or young person living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity. It can be very isolating for them and their family. Global’s Make Some Noise funds vital equipment and life-changing services to help children and young people through challenging times, including therapy, counselling, nursing and support groups.
The online shop is owned and operated by Global Charities (registered company number 4359098 and charity number 1091657 (England and Wales) and SC041475 (Scotland)) of 30 Leicester Square, London, WC2H 7LA operating under the name Global’s Make Some Noise.
Website Supply Terms
These terms set out the basis on which we will supply items from our shop to you (whether on sale or offered on a complimentary basis), so please read them carefully.
We may amend these from time to time, and the changes will take effect from the time we publish the revised terms. However, the amended terms will not apply to any orders that we have already accepted before this date.

By ordering goods from this website you are deemed to have understood and accepted these terms. When you place an order online to purchase a product from us, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we despatch the product you have ordered and not before. Any products on the same order which we have not despatched to you do not form part of that contract. To place orders from this website, you must be 18 years old or over. You warrant that you are at least 18 years old and that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts. We do not sell or make available products to children.
Ordering an item
If we cannot supply you with some or all of the items you have requested for any reason, we will contact you and, where payment has already been taken, we will refund you.
We may not be able to accept your order as a result of one of the following:
- the product you ordered is out of stock;
- we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment;
- we have identified a pricing or product description error;
- you have asked us to deliver your order to a location where we do not offer delivery; or
- you have attempted to use a voucher or special offer more times than is permitted, or in a fraudulent way.
If you wish to change your order at any time prior to despatch, please let us know as soon as possible. We will try our best to accommodate your request, but this may not always be possible. If we can’t make the change you require, we will give you the option to either proceed with the order without the changes, or to cancel the order in full or part.
We try to ensure that all descriptions of our products are correct at the point of entry on our website. Whilst we endeavour to ensure the products are described accurately, sometimes there may be slight differences in size, colour and design. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published, including prices and promotions.
Availability of Our Products
We try to ensure that all items displayed on our website are in stock and available to order. However, where items are temporarily unavailable for any reason, we will endeavour to indicate this on the website.
Please note that we may withdraw items from sale or supply in the event we run out of stock or for any other reason. We may do this at any time and without notice.
The price of the product (which includes VAT) will be the price indicated on the order pages when you placed your order. We take all reasonable care to ensure that the price of the product advised to you is correct.
However, it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products we sell may be incorrectly priced. We will normally check prices before accepting your order so that, where the product's correct price at your order date is less than our stated price at your order date, we will charge the lower amount. If the product's correct price at your order date is higher than the price stated to you, we will contact you for your instructions before we accept your order. If we accept and process your order where a pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could reasonably have been recognised by you as a mispricing, we may end the contract, refund you any sums you have paid and require the return of any goods provided to you.
We accept payment from all major credit and debit cards. You must pay for the product(s) before we dispatch them. We will not charge your credit or debit card until we dispatch the product(s) to you.
COVID-19 - UPDATE TO OUR DELIVERY TIMEFRAME
Keeping our staff and customers safe is one of our biggest priorities. Accordingly, some of our deliveries may take longer – please allow an additional 5 working days for your product(s) to arrive before getting in touch.
We deliver to addresses within the zones listed here (covering the UK, Europe and World Zones 1 and 2).
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to countries other than those listed above.
Please refer to the product description for shipping costs and details on the estimated timescale for delivery of the product.
We shall not be responsible to you for any delays in the delivery of products that are caused by events outside of our control. However, we will contact you as soon as possible to notify you of any such events, and we will try to minimise the effects of any delay.
The product(s) will be your responsibility from the time we deliver the product(s) to the address provided by you to us.
Returns and Refunds
COVID-19 - UPDATE TO OUR RETURNS TIMEFRAME
To assist you while the current restrictions due to Covid-19 are in place, if you return an order within 30 days of notifying us of your intention to return it (in accordance with the below), you’ll get a full refund to your original payment method.
Under Consumer Regulations you have the right to cancel your order as long as you do so no later than 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods. You must inform us of your wish to cancel in writing either by:
- completing the returns form on the website; or
- email to [email protected] ;
- calling us on 0345 606 0990
within a period of 14 days beginning on the day after the day you receive your goods.
You must take reasonable care of the goods and not use them. You should return goods to us in their original packaging, wherever possible, within 14 days of informing us of your wish to cancel.
If you return goods to us, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to them during transit. If goods are lost or damaged in transit, we may charge you, or not refund to you, amounts that are attributable to the loss or damage.
Proof of Postage
We strongly recommend that you use a recorded or secure delivery method and retain all proof of postage.
We aim to refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned product(s).
Unwanted products returned after 14 days
We don't accept returns for unwanted products after the relevant returns period above. If you try to make a return, we may have to send it back to you and ask you to cover the delivery costs.
How do I return a product?
Please note, we are unable to refund or exchange products that do not reach us, so we strongly recommend you purchase additional proof of postage services.
We will not refund to you the cost of returning the goods unless the goods are faulty.
What products are excluded from the returns and refunds policy?
The following items are excluded from our goodwill returns policy, unless faulty or not as described:-
- personalised or made to specification goods
- clearance items reduced to half price or less
- perishable goods including but limited to fresh flowers and food
- hats & hair accessories which have been worn
- cosmetics, toiletries & towels that have been unsealed and opened
This does not affect your statutory rights.
When will I receive my refund?
Once we receive the relevant product(s) back in its original condition, we will process your refund.
Your refund may take up to 14 days from the day on which we receive the product back from you. The refund will be paid back to the original debit, credit or charge card used to purchase the product(s).
Damaged, Faulty or Not as described Goods
You have a legal right to return any product that:
- does not match the description on our website;
- is not fit for its intended purpose; or
- is not of satisfactory quality.
You are entitled to a refund if you tell us this within 30 days of receipt of the product, or you may request a replacement product instead. In either case, you will need to return the product in question to us.
Your Personal Information
We use the personal information you provide to us in order to supply the product(s) you have ordered to you and process your payment. Limited information, including your name, address and details of your order will be shared with MPH Enterprises Limited, Oaktree Business Park, Limewood Court, Leeds, LS14 1NF, our order fulfilment provider, in order to send you your order.
With your consent, we will contact you to let you know about products, offers and discounts, the progress Global’s Make Some Noise is making, and to ask for financial and non- financial support.
Our liability to you
We only supply products for domestic and private use. You agree not to use products ordered from this website for any commercial, business or resale purposes, and therefore we shall have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
Governing law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in all disputes arising out of these terms and any product(s) ordered from this website.
If a court finds any part of these terms unlawful or unenforceable for any reason, this shall not affect the rest of the terms which will remain valid and enforceable.
This contract is between you and us. Nobody else has any rights under or in respect of these terms.
Even if we delay in enforcing any of these terms, we can still enforce them at a later time. If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of any breach, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.
These terms and conditions do not in any way affect your statutory rights.
